Providing Educational Visits And
Displays Of Owls And Birds Of Prey
The
early part of Phil's life was spent in the transport industry, latterly as a
skipper of a canal trip boat. Phil has always been interested in Birds of Prey
and just before Christmas 2005 he bought a breeding pair of Bengal Eagle Owls.
Within a very short time all their family arrived giving him 9 Bengals at once.
He still has the breeding pair who continue their job very successfully. From
then on it was like topsy! It grew and grew and at present the headcount is
a mixture of Owls and Birds of Prey totalling 35 birds.
For
25 years Roy was a time served printer in wallpaper manufacturing. An avid fisherman
all his life Roy has always enjoyed the outdoors and enjoys watching wildlife.
Hence his interest in Birds of Prey and having been friends with Phil and Judy
for about 18 years joining in this venture was a natural progression. His handy
experience in joinery and building saw that the aviaries were built to National
Bird Of Prey Centre Specifications and have been greatly admired.
